WWF and Siu-Tsiu recently held an inspiring meeting with Naalakkersuisoq for Fisheries, Hunting, Agriculture and Self-Sufficiency, Peter Borg.
We had a productive and constructive discussion about how the green transition, self-sufficiency, and youth initiatives can go hand in hand, particularly in East Greenland, where there is significant potential for local food production and the development of new sustainable industries.
The meeting confirmed that there are strong shared ambitions between the Government of Greenland’s coalition agreement and the work we are already undertaking. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and strengthening our collaboration on concrete solutions for the future.
